S29 began as Studio 29, founded by Rob Gibbs when he was 29. The aim was to close the gaps between product design, engineering and prototyping, giving customers one experienced team capable of moving ambitious ideas forward quickly and intelligently.
As those projects progressed, the need for a smoother route into production became clear. Factory 31 brought manufacturing into the same process, creating the integrated studio we are today: designers, engineers, electronics specialists and production experts working together under one roof, from first concept through compliance and market-ready manufacture.
