The Cullinan’s event seating creates a refined place to pause and watch occasions such as horse racing and polo. Behind that effortless interaction sits a purpose-designed ECU controlling the electronically activated seats.

S29 was tasked with developing an automotive-approved unit within a very short timeframe, balancing packaging, reliability and premium-quality component selection in one tightly resolved design.

The electronics had to meet strict automotive group standards while remaining dependable in the exposed boot environment. An IP66 rating was essential, demanding a carefully considered enclosure, sealing strategy and robust internal architecture.

Every material and component was selected for quality and durability. The result is an unobtrusive control unit designed to perform reliably behind one of the Cullinan’s most distinctive customer experiences.
