Steam‑e approached S29 with an innovation brief for a sustainable chewing-gum removal machine. It needed to be cordless and easy to manoeuvre, consume less energy and equal or improve upon the cleaning performance of existing products.

From design and testing through procurement and manufacture, we worked closely with the client to turn a demanding technical brief into a practical system built for everyday use.

Cordless performance without compromise.

Conventional gum-removal machines relied on a potentially explosive propane and butane mixture. Removing that fuel source while retaining heat, pressure and useful operating performance called for a fundamentally different approach.

A new steam-generation method was paired with a Stealth Lithium battery and electronic control system. The result brought together portability, safety and high performance in a low-energy platform suited to demanding cleaning environments.
